Miner killed, 6 injured in Turkish mine landslide
ISTANBUL, April 27 (KUNA) — One miner was killed and six others were wounded in a coal mine landslide in Nevsehir city in central Turkey Saturday night, local media reported Sunday. The private news network (NTV) website said the mine is located in Gulsehir town, Nevsehir district, in the heart of Anatolia. It added the incident occurred at night due to a gas explosion followed by a landslide. NTV added that the wounded miners were rescued to a nearby hospital and that security forces lanuched an investigation into the incident.
