Miner dies after chopping at Barakat Backda (Guyana)
The police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Kevin Huggins, 29 years, a miner of Johanna Cecilia, Essequibo Coast.
Investigations have so far revealed that Huggins was reportedly involved in an incident at Barakat Backdam, Cuyuni River, at about 0100h yesterday during which he was chopped about his body.
Kevin Huggins was admitted to the Bartica Hospital and died today while receiving medical treatment.
